I wove myself a poncho ✨

It is super cosy and i am very happy it is done before winter! my vision was wearing it sitting around a fire pit :)

(I could do with tidying up the fringes but I really cba)

It is constructed from four individually woven panels – two are stichted together, and then the short edge of one is stitched to the long edge of the other (using mattress stitch)

Woven on a 40cm ashford rigid heddle loom. Including stitching it together it is somewhere in 20-40 hours of work?? idk

I made the design up as I went along pretty much (can you tell? lol) and put the stripes in random places, although I did try to match them up between the two panels and I almost got it exactly right. I really like how the stripes end up sitting on my shoulders though.
